Emblem: The Gateway Arch; upper-case The Gateway Arch is a famous monument in St. Louis, the state capital, that represents the westward expansion of the union in the 19th century.

References the Arch by being in the shape of a parabola, the mathematical form that was served as the basis of the Arch's design. The Arch had to be modified into an "M" for the emblem, so I made up for it by placing an unmodified Arch shape in the field.
